Mehri & Skalet represented customers in a case against Apple Computers, Inc. The plaintiffs were customers who purchased a wireless networking product, the AirPort System, which was incompatible with AOL. The case was settled providing relief to the class and instituting changes so that future consumers would not face a similar issue.
Programmatic
In order to prevent a reoccurrence of the situation Apple agreed to change the notice and packaging of this product.
Financial
The settlement provided each class member $45 to refund their out of pocket expenses.
