U-Haul
In July 2007, Mehri & Skalet, PLLC filed a representative action against U-Haul International, Inc., on behalf of customers who rented vehicles from U-Haul.

The Complaint alleges that customers were damaged by U-Haul’s deceptive and unlawful practices. Specifically, Plaintiff alleges that U-Haul falsely represents that its fleet of trucks are the newest trucks for household movers, when in fact, U-Haul has a policy and practice of keeping its rental vehicles on the road as long as possible, without regard to customer satisfaction and safety.

Plaintiff has brought a claim under the D.C. Consumer Protection Procedures Act, and a claim for unjust enrichment.
